Malcolm's Toyota LandCruiser Prado 250 has been built for extended touring, with a focus on practical storage, usable electrical capacity and the ability to spend longer exploring off the beaten track. An adventure tourer is a step up from a weekend warrior, and this build is designed to provide the infrastructure needed for longer trips without adding unnecessary weight.
The build combines an Offroad Animal Scout roof rack, Maxxis mud-terrain tyres, a Long Range Automotive fuel tank and an RV Storage Solutions drawer system. Behind the clean finish is a custom subfloor battery tray and electrical installation designed to keep essential components accessible for maintenance and diagnostics.
The electrical setup includes a Bushman 35L drawer fridge, Invicta 200W inverter, multiple power outlets and integrated controls for a practical touring setup. We've also completed a GVM upgrade up to the vehicle's axle load limits, with the existing suspension and intended use considered as part of the overall build.
