INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER (17/01/2024)

Conducts a comprehensive evaluation of the utilization and management of personnel, facilities, equipment, and materials within the 4WD shop environment. This entails a meticulous review of current operational strategies and established protocols, with the objective of proposing enhancements to elevate the quality and efficiency of daily operations, solidifying our standing as leaders in the 4WD service and retail industry.

Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Tasks will include:

  • Instituting strict standards for installation and modification, with thorough quality control and inspections, ensuring every vehicle is ready to face the rigors of adventure with confidence.

  • Analyzing workforce allocation, workshop layout, and operational data to enhance the efficiency of our custom builds, ensuring every project is completed with utmost precision and within optimal timelines.

  • Conducting detailed inspections to guarantee optimal performance and reliability, ensuring every journey in our custom vehicles is a testament to our commitment to quality and adventure.

  • Implementing work measurement programs to refine the build process, optimizing labor in crafting these vehicles, and ensuring each unit is built to the highest standards of quality and performance.

  • Designing and engineering specialized components and systems to address the unique challenges of every build, enhancing the durability, performance, and comfort of our custom vehicles.

  • Overseeing maintenance and integrating new custom solutions, ensuring our vehicles are not just ready for today's adventures but are also future-proof, ready to tackle new challenges with ease and reliability.

  • Crafting operational strategies and organizational charts focused on constructing and customizing 4WD vehicles, ensuring efficiency and precision in creating exceptional off-road tourers.

4WD MECHANIC AND ACCESSORY FITTER (28/12/2023)

Reporting directly to the Production team leader, the successful candidate will be highly organised, energetic and have outstanding communication skills.

Hours: 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday and every 2nd Saturday (4 hrs).

Responsibilities will include:

  • Accessory Fitment
  • Service
  • Repairs
    • Vehicle preparation 
    • Auto electrical 
    • Wheel alignments
    • Fitting wheels and tyres
    • Minor fabrication works

    To be successful you will possess the following:

    • Cert 3 or 4 light vehicle mechanic certificate.
    • Passion for 4WD
    • Strong communication skills - oral and written
    • Ability to self-manage within a fast paced environment
    • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively with others
    • Strong work ethic and an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude
    Experience in 4WD mechanical is preferred and accessory fitting highly regard.

    SALES TEAM 

    Reporting directly to the Sales team leader, the successful candidate will be highly organised, energetic and have outstanding communication skills.

    Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and every 2nd Saturday (4 hrs).

    Responsibilities Include: 

     

    • Responding to sales enquiries through our various lead sources. 
    • Attend to in store enquiries from walk in customers. 
    • Preparation of quotes for customers and sales orders for the production team. 
    • Participate in team building activities. 
    • Working at special events such as 4X4 Shows and Open Days
    • Providing support and backup for the sales team leader.

    To be successful you will possess the following:

    • A passion for four wheel drives and outdoor 
    • A mechanical aptitude and 4X4 experience preferred.
    • A very strong customer service ethic. 
    • The ability to work as a member of a team.
    • Great follow-up skills combined with excellent attention to detail.
    • Strong sales acumen. 
    • Retail display flair and creativity is desirable. 
    • High energy and enthusiasm. 
    • The drive and ambition to grow and develop within the business

    JUNIOR ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

    Reporting directly to the Admin team leader, the successful candidate will be highly organised, energetic and have outstanding communication skills.

    Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

    Responsibilities Include: 

    • Answering telephone calls.
    • E-Filing
    • Maintaining office and ordering of essentials
    • Outgoing/incoming mail
    • Assisting clients 
    • Liaise with suppliers.
    • Supporting the team
    • Assisting sales manager
    • Other adhoc administrative duties
    • Assisting service & maintenance manager

    To be successful you will possess the following:

     

    • Google (Suite) 
    • Oracle Netsuite (preferred but not essential)
    • Able to competently draft emails and letters as required.
    • Have excellent communication skills – verbal and written
    • Have an excellent telephone manner 
    • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in line with our standards.
    • Have great presentation.
    • Have attention to detail & excellent time management.
    • Have a happy and positive attitude.
    • Be punctual.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Be a team player.
    • Be a quick learner.
    • Be highly organised.

    Experience:

    This role will suit a person who has some experience and looking for a change. Minimum of one to two years of experience in similar role essential.
